Ekipoo ("we", "us", "our") operates the platform available at ekipoo.com and is committed to protecting the personal data of coaches, athletes, and visitors. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and your rights under the GDPR (EU 2016/679).
1. Data Controller
The data controller is Ekipoo.

2. Personal Data We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Account data — first name, last name, e-mail address, hashed password, optional telephone number, user role (coach / athlete).
- Profile preferences — interface language, visual theme, sidebar style (stored in your account and in your browser).
- Sports and athletic data — training sessions, competitions, personal bests, attendance records, event results, categories, disciplines, seasons, announcements — entered by you or by your coach.
- Billing data — subscription plan and billing cycle. Payment details (card number, etc.) are processed exclusively by Paddle and are never stored on our servers.
- Technical data — IP address (used for rate-limiting and fraud prevention), browser type, session identifiers.
- Communication data — e-mails we send you (e-mail verification, password reset, notifications).
- Audit logs — records of key actions (registration, data changes) for security purposes.

4. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, personal data is erased within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. billing records may be retained for up to 10 years for tax purposes). Audit logs are retained for 12 months. Email verification tokens expire after 24 hours.
5. Third Parties and Recipients
- Paddle.com — payment processor. Paddle acts as Merchant of Record and processes all billing and tax data independently. See Paddle's Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts — the fonts Inter and Poppins are loaded from Google's CDN. Google may log the requesting IP. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Hosting provider — our server infrastructure provider processes data on our behalf under a Data Processing Agreement.
6. International Transfers
Your data is stored on servers within the European Economic Area (EEA). If any transfer outside the EEA is required (e.g. via Paddle or Google), it is governed by Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
7. Cookies and Local Storage
We use strictly necessary cookies (session, language) and browser local storage for preferences. No advertising or tracking cookies are set by us. For full details, see our Cookie Policy.
8. Your Rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access — obtain a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Rectification — correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure ("right to be forgotten") — request deletion of your data.
- Restriction — limit how we process your data.
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format (available via Data Management → Export in your dashboard).
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time.
- Lodge a complaint — with your national data-protection authority.
9. How to Exercise Your Rights

We may update this policy. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you by e-mail.
